This painting is an homage to a famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Her work, her paintings inspire me. She is an incredibly talented artist! She sees the world from a unique perspective. I imagined the way she could see herself in the mirror, as if she were also made up of polka dots. I decided to look at her own face through the lens of her art. That’s how this graphic artwork was born.
